REGULATIONS
BFRESH HEALTH CLUB CENTRE REGULATIONS
1. SCOPE
These regulations ("Regulations") apply to the Bfresh Health Club Centre, located at Rua do Castelo, nº 96, in the city of Porto, and are binding on all those who frequent it, namely its clients, hotel guests and technicians who provide services there. Strict compliance with the provisions of the Regulations is essential for the healthy coexistence of all those who frequent the Centre and for the smooth running of the Health Club, and we would therefore appreciate everyone's cooperation.
2. SPACE AND ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT
2.1 Management of the Health Club Centre and of the various disciplines practised is entrusted by concession to Ana Carolina Canotilho de Seixas Gonçalves and Fábio dos Santos Ferreira, graduates in physical education and sport, who are also the Centre's Technical Directors.
2.2 Among other things, they are responsible for managing the time and form of occupation of the space, admission, equipment management, hiring independent technicians, establishing rules that they must obey and enforce with their clients.
3. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO THE CENTRE'S FACILITIES
3.1. Access to the Centre is conditional on the type of membership and use chosen by the user, with the exception of hotel guests and without prejudice to their request for support from technicians assigned to the Centre.
3.2 Unless otherwise stated in the form of membership subscribed to by the user or if previously authorised in writing by the Centre's Management, users may not be accompanied by guests, including third parties to support the practice of physical exercise at the Centre, namely personal trainers who do not have a service contract with the Centre's Management.
3.3 Access to the Centre can only be made within its opening hours, which are posted and can be changed at any time by the Centre's Management.
3.4. Access to and egress from the Centre is made through the Hotel's reception, upon presentation of an identification document (with photograph) and proof of user status, without prejudice to any impediment that may occur due to non-compliance with the Regulations or the service contract signed with the Management Entity.
3.6. The management entity reserves the right to limit access to the Centre to one entry per day, unless otherwise stipulated as a result of the membership modality subscribed to under the terms set out in the membership conditions.
3.7. The conditions applicable to guests are set out in the membership conditions.
4. FITNESS FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISE
4.1 Without prejudice to the initial fitness test, it is the user's responsibility to ensure in advance that there are no contraindications to practising physical activity and sport, and to obtain prior advice from their doctor.
4.2 If you feel unwell, you should not start exercising. If you feel unwell while exercising, you should stop immediately and ask a member of the Centre's staff for assistance.
5. BEHAVIOUR AND DRESS
5.1. Users must conduct themselves in a calm and urbane manner within the Centre, so as not to disturb or impede the normal use of the Centre by others, and must be appropriately dressed when circulating in the common areas.
5.2 The use of any insulting, defamatory or aggressive language in dealing with any person in the Centre is expressly forbidden.
5.3 Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the Centre.
5.4 It is forbidden to use the tables available in the Centre for any kind of meal. It is only possible to have small, quick snacks inside the Centre's facilities.
5.5 Exercise may not be carried out in trainers/sneakers or any other type of footwear that is dirty or brought in from the street.
5.6 The use of mobile phones is permitted in the "Exercise Zones" as long as their use does not disturb the regular functioning of the Zones or other users.
5.7. The Exercise Zones must be used with the appropriate equipment: polo shirt, top, t-shirt or sweatshirt, shorts or trousers, tracksuit bottoms and trainers/sneakers.
5.8 Training or classes without the proper training clothing described in 5.7 is prohibited. If the user is not properly equipped, the Centre Management reserves the right to invite the member to end training for the day.
5.9 It is compulsory for users to wear towels when using the equipment and materials in the Exercise Zones and in Group Classes, for hygiene reasons.
5.10. Users are responsible for replacing the material used in the Exercise Zones in their respective storage areas.
5.11. No filming, photography or sound recording is permitted in the Centre without the prior authorisation of the Centre's Management in order to protect the privacy of users. Failure to comply with this clause will result in the person responsible for the recording being asked to delete the recorded material and leave the Centre.
6. USE OF THE EXERCISE ROOM
6.1 Users must follow the instructions of the Centre's staff and obtain advice from them before using any equipment if they are unfamiliar with how it works, unless they are accompanied by a personal trainer duly accredited by the Centre's Management.
6.2 The person in charge of the Exercise Room may ask any user to leave the room when their behaviour is likely to jeopardise the normal running of the Exercise Room.
6.3 During the rest period between repetitions on a particular piece of equipment, as well as at the end of its use, Members must leave it free so that it can be used by other users.
6.4 The Exercise Room closes thirty minutes before the Centre's closing time.
6.5 During the busiest periods in the Exercise Rooms, and in particular between 07.00 and 09.30, between 12.30 and 14.30 and between 17.30 and 20.30, the use of cardiovascular machines and equipment by each user may not exceed 20 consecutive minutes.
6.6 The Centre's Management is not responsible for the misuse by the user of any equipment or material available in the Exercise Room.
7. USE OF THE GYM
7.1 Gymnasiums are defined as places where physical exercise activities take place, including enclosed studios, classrooms, exercise rooms and open spaces, which include the following areas: maintenance, cardio fitness, resistance, bodybuilding, combat, functional training, sprint and relaxation.
7.2 In order not to jeopardise the normal running of the Gym and other activities, it is forbidden to take bags or suitcases into the areas mentioned in 7.1. Users must leave their belongings in the padlocked lockers in the changing rooms.
7.3 The Centre's management reserves the right to change the session schedules at any time. Changes include the number of weekly sessions, the timetable and the duration of the sessions.
7.4 The Centre's Management may restrict the number of participants if there is too many for a given equivalent activity, and must do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
7.5 The Centre's management reserves the right to set up a ticket system for certain classes, in which case tickets must be collected in advance from the Centre's reception. In this situation, participation in classes is subject to the presentation of the ticket.
7.6 The Centre's Management is not responsible for the misuse by the user of any equipment or material available in the Gym.
8. USE OF THE CHANGING ROOMS
8.1. The lockers in the changing rooms are intended to be used by users who are not guests of the Hotel, under the terms defined in the membership conditions, and the Centre's Management assumes no responsibility for the safekeeping of goods placed there, including in the event of loss, theft or robbery.
8.2 Lockers for daily use will be emptied daily for security reasons by a Centre employee after the premises have closed.
8.3 For health and hygiene reasons, Members must refrain from: (i) bringing food, drink and glass containers into or storing them in the changing rooms; (ii) shaving and/or waxing.
8.4 The Centre's management is not obliged to supply hygiene products to users, although they may exist and are free of charge, without assuming any obligation with regard to their operation or the existence or maintenance of minimum stock levels.
9. MINORS
8.1. Under 16s are not allowed to use the Centre.
8.2 There are no specific facilities or activities for children at the Centre on a regular basis.
10. PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal training can only be carried out by technicians duly accredited by the Centre's management, whose identification is displayed in a visible place in the Centre.
11. PROHIBITION OF ACCESS TO AND STAY IN THE CENTRE
11.1. The Centre's Management reserves the right to prohibit users from accessing the Centre or to ask them to leave, whenever: (i) they owe money to the Centre; (ii) their behaviour is likely to disrupt the normal functioning of the Centre, namely due to a lack of decorum, urbanity or compliance with instructions given by representatives, workers or employees; (iii) they do not present themselves in the appropriate clothing for the Exercise Room, the Classrooms or for circulation in the common areas of the Centre; (iv) Their behaviour jeopardises the safety of people present in the Centre; (v) Their behaviour violates the Centre's hygiene rules; (vi) A user is notoriously drunk, under the influence of drugs or psychologically incapacitated; (vii) They generally violate the provisions of the Regulations.
12. LOST PROPERTY
Any goods left at the Centre and found by a member of staff or a user and handed in at reception will be kept for a period of 14 days. Once this period has elapsed and the goods have not been claimed, the Centre's obligation to store the goods ceases and it may dispose of them as it sees fit without the owner of the goods being able to claim or demand any compensation or indemnity.

14. VALIDITY AND AMENDMENTS
14.1 The provisions of the Regulations come into force on the day after they are posted in the Centre and are valid for an indefinite period.
14.2. Health Club Bfresh reserves the right to amend the Regulations at any time and without prior notice, with the amendments taking effect from the day following the posting of the new Regulations in the Centre, so it is recommended that you read them regularly.
